Continuum Health partners, Inc., one of the largest health services providers in the metropolitan area includes Beth Israel Medical Center, St-Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center, Long Island College Hospital, and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Group and private practices are located throughout the Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Westchester Counties.
The IT Department is seeking a System Analyst to monitor, maintain and resolve user issues on our Eagle Patient Management System.
Required Experience / Skills:
* 3-5 years experience in a hospital setting utilizing the Eagle patient management system (including patient registration, admission, discharge)
* Knowledge of Eagle billing system preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communications
* Good MS Excel skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities
* Ability to multi-task
* Ability to meet deadlines
Job Responsibilities:
* Monitor and follow through on issues
* Document and articulate problems
* Apply changes to resolve problems or respond to user requests
* Create test data and participate in testing
* Maintain patient and employee confidentiality
* Observe all compliance policies and regulations
* Interact with users and vendors through various phases of design, testing and implementation
* Keep management informed
