Job Description
Our client , a strong, growing Company is in search of a Junior Software / E- Commerce engineer to help them completely redesign and architect their website.

This Company is very profitable and a highly visited site in their industry on the World wide Web, BUT they are looking to take it to the next level, with new functionality and features !!

In this role you will be expected to write lots of code, understand complex systems, develop functional specifications, architect appropriate solutions, drive development, oversee deployment, and ensure the highest quality code, testing, and usage experience.

You must stay abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies related to online retail, general web application development, and general software development.

You will be part of a a group of 4 Software / Web engineers.

The software engineer will be responsible for design, analysis and coding for the E-Commerce web site.



Key Responsibilities

Working on e-commerce technology initiatives including web site development, ERP integration, customer service integration, and marketing programs.

Architecting site technology, particularly to enhance catalog management, shopping experience, user community, marketing capabilities, and scalability.

Writing amazing code and even better documentation

Managing the team to ensure they write amazing code and documentation





Requirements

Must be highly motivated and the GO-Getter type.

Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Key Qualifications

3+ Years Software Development in Java

3+ Years Relational Database Experience -- MySql OR Sql/Server OR Oracle

1+ Years E-Commerce Software Development (consumer retail strongly preferred)

2+ Years JBoss or Tomcat Application Server

2+ Years JavaScript

2+ Years Spring Framework

STRONG understanding of the Internet, from culture to technology

Great communication skills (oral and written)
